Pauma Valley, California
The project is to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for 3 tribal facilities – a Police Station, a Fire Station, and a Government Campus with the Pauma Band of Luiseno Mission Indians of the Pauma & Yuima Reservation (Pauma).
The Government Campus includes the tribal administrative building, tribal hall, library, classrooms, tribal kitchen, and maintenance office building. All systems will be new infrastructure development for Pauma, and will be grid-tied. GRID Alternatives (GRID) will lead on solar installations for these facility projects. The amount of energy saved by solarizing these three focus offices is 167,655 kWh annually. The estimated annual cost savings provided to the tribe by the systems is $40,000.
