The Pueblo of Santa Ana

Pueblo Santa Ana, New Mexico

The Pueblo of Santa Ana intends to partner with GRID Alternatives’ Tribal Program to install 6kW-DC rooftop solar PV systems on five residential homes.

The systems will be grid-tied with microinverters and interconnected to the local utility, Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM). GRID will provide paid hands-on training to 2-3 tribal members. Each system is estimated to provide 10,582 kWhs of clean, renewable energy a year and approximately $1,058 savings per year for 25 years. The Pueblo hopes this project will lead to more solar PV projects and open up career paths for its citizens.
