The Yurok tribe is proposing to contract with GRID Alternatives to install a 36.905 kW PV system on the rooftop of the Weitchpec Tribal Office, and a 9.455kW PV system on the rooftop of the Tulley Creek Transportation building and complete interconnection requirements for both systems.
GRID will provide a Yurok tribal member with installation training. Tribal staff will work with GRID to develop a poster to display at the construction site to educate and inform the community on the system and about solar energy.
