United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) proposes to establish a net-zero, solar powered energy source for their existing Science and Technology Building on campus.
Located in the southern campus, the Science and Technology Building was constructed in 2012 as a first-class educational facility which accommodates 9 classrooms, 15 faculty office spaces, 4 laboratories and numerous lounge and hallway areas. The net-zero, solar powered installation project will be gradually integrated into UTTC’s STEM class/course curriculum, to educate tribal college students, staff and facility on solar power technology, construction and economic influences.
